Jurnal Econmark Accounting (JEA), published by CV. Erukasyah Lagaliora Publishing, maintains a clear separation between advertising activities and editorial decision-making. Any advertisement displayed through the journal's or publisher's official platform must be accurate, lawful, professionally appropriate, and clearly distinguishable from scholarly and editorial content.
Advertising relationships must not influence manuscript selection, peer review, reviewer assignment, editorial decisions, publication priority, research interpretation, or the presentation of scholarly findings in economics, management, and accounting.
Editorial decisions in JEA are based on scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, research integrity, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, and the outcomes of editorial screening and double-blind peer review. Advertisers, sponsors, commercial partners, and other external parties have no authority over manuscript acceptance, rejection, reviewer selection, editorial evaluation, correction, expression of concern, or retraction.
Advertising and sponsored promotional materials must be clearly identified, for example, through labels such as Advertisement or Sponsored Content. Advertisements must not imitate research articles, editorial statements, peer-reviewed publications, journal policies, or independent scholarly recommendations in a manner that could mislead readers.
Where advertising is accepted, JEA may consider professionally appropriate advertisements relevant to economics, management, accounting, business, finance, and the wider academic community, including:
- Academic conferences, seminars, workshops, and scholarly meetings in economics, management, and accounting.
- Higher education programs, research programs, and academic development opportunities.
- Academic books, scholarly publications, business research resources, and professional reference materials.
- Research software, statistical tools, econometric applications, and accounting or financial analysis technologies.
- Professional development programs for researchers, economists, managers, auditors, and accounting professionals.
- Scholarly activities related to financial literacy, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and sustainable business practices.
- Other legitimate academic or professional activities consistent with the journal's scholarly mission.
JEA reserves the right to reject or remove advertisements that:
- Contain false, misleading, deceptive, unverifiable, or materially exaggerated claims.
- Misrepresent academic qualifications, SINTA accreditation, Scopus or Web of Science indexing, DOAJ inclusion, impact factors, or institutional recognition.
- Promote plagiarism, fabricated research, contract cheating, purchased authorship, peer-review manipulation, or predatory publishing practices.
- Promote fraudulent investments, deceptive financial services, accounting falsification, or unethical business activities.
- Contain discriminatory, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate material.
- Violate applicable laws, copyright, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or professional standards.
- Create a misleading impression of endorsement by JEA, its editors, reviewers, publisher, or associated institutions.
- Compromise editorial independence, scholarly integrity, or the accessibility of published research.
- Are inconsistent with the journal's academic mission or responsible scholarly communication principles.
The appearance of an advertisement on the JEA website or an official publisher platform does not constitute endorsement, certification, recommendation, or guarantee by the journal, Editorial Team, reviewers, or publisher regarding the advertised product, institution, event, service, or claim.
Advertising must be visually and contextually separated from peer-reviewed articles, editorial correspondence, reviewer reports, research findings, and other scholarly content. Advertising placement must not interfere with the readability, interpretation, accessibility, or scholarly integrity of published articles. Advertisements must not be presented as part of the scientific findings or editorial recommendations of JEA.
Advertising may be selected according to its relevance to the journal's general academic readership and its compatibility with the journal's professional standards. Advertising decisions must not rely on confidential information obtained through manuscript submissions, peer-review activities, unpublished research, author correspondence, or editorial records.
Personal information obtained through journal registration, manuscript submission, peer review, or editorial communication must not be sold or disclosed to advertisers for unrelated commercial marketing. Any processing of website or user information for advertising purposes must comply with applicable privacy requirements and the journal's privacy policy. Confidential manuscript and review information must never be used for advertising targeting.
If JEA displays sponsored promotional materials, the sponsorship relationship must be clearly disclosed. Sponsored promotional content must not be represented as independently peer-reviewed scholarly research. Any scholarly manuscript associated with a sponsor must undergo the same editorial screening, research-integrity checks, and peer-review requirements as other submitted manuscripts, without preferential treatment.
The journal's Article Processing Charge (APC) is separate from advertising or sponsorship arrangements. The APC established for JEA is IDR 250,000 per accepted article. Payment of the APC does not provide advertising privileges, editorial influence, preferential manuscript handling, or any guarantee of publication beyond the applicable editorial and publication procedures.
JEA and CV. Erukasyah Lagaliora Publishing retain the right to refuse, discontinue, or remove advertising when the material is inconsistent with this policy, becomes inaccurate or misleading, presents ethical or legal concerns, or may reasonably undermine the journal's independence, integrity, or academic reputation.
Jurnal Econmark Accounting (JEA) maintains the principle that advertising, sponsorship, financial interests, and commercial considerations must remain independent of scholarly evaluation and editorial judgment. Any advertising associated with the journal must preserve transparency, reader trust, academic integrity, and the independence of publication processes in economics, management, and accounting.
