Revenue Source

Article Processing Charges

Ethical Media Architecture and Educational Technology (EMAET) operates under an open-access publishing model. The costs of editorial management, peer-review administration, copyediting, layout, publication, digital preservation, and online dissemination are supported through an Article Processing Charge (APC).

The APC may be paid by the author, the author’s institution, research sponsor, or funding organization. Payment enables the published article to be made immediately and permanently accessible without subscription or access charges.

Payment Conditions
  • The APC is charged only after the manuscript has completed peer review and received formal acceptance for publication.
  • Authors are not required to pay an APC during initial submission or peer review.
  • Payment does not guarantee acceptance, accelerated review, preferential treatment, or publication.
  • Editorial decisions are based solely on academic quality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal’s scope, publication ethics, and reviewer recommendations.
Open-Access Publication

Articles published by EMAET are made immediately and permanently available through the official journal website. Each article is published under the journal’s stated open-access license, which regulates access, distribution, reuse, and appropriate attribution.

Fee Transparency

The applicable APC is stated clearly on the official EMAET website. Authors will be informed of the amount and payment procedure before the article enters the publication stage.

CV Erukasyah Lagaliora Publishing does not impose undisclosed publication charges. Any additional service or administrative fee must be communicated transparently before payment.

APC Determination and Review

APC rates are periodically reviewed by CV Erukasyah Lagaliora Publishing. The amount may be determined by considering:

  • journal quality and publication standards;
  • editorial and peer-review administration;
  • copyediting, layout, and production processes;
  • digital infrastructure and preservation;
  • operational and publishing conditions; and
  • other legitimate sources of journal funding.
Changes to APC Rates

Any change to the APC will be announced through the official journal website. The applicable charge follows the rate formally communicated to the author for the relevant publication process.

Financial considerations are kept separate from peer review and editorial decision-making. Editors and reviewers must not base publication decisions on an author’s ability or willingness to pay the APC.
