Advertising Policy

NexaAssist Journal of Inclusive Technology (NAJIT) maintains a clear separation between advertising activities and editorial decision-making. Any advertisement displayed through the journal or the official platform of CV. Erukasyah Lagaliora Publishing must be accurate, lawful, professionally appropriate, and clearly distinguishable from scholarly and editorial content.

Advertising relationships must not influence manuscript selection, peer review, editorial decisions, publication priority, research interpretation, or the presentation of scholarly findings. Advertising opportunities, where available, are subject to the journal's ethical standards and independent editorial policies.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions in NAJIT are based on scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, research integrity, relevance to the journal's scope, and the outcomes of editorial assessment and peer review. Advertisers, sponsors, commercial partners, and other external parties have no authority over manuscript acceptance, rejection, reviewer selection, editorial evaluation, correction, or retraction.

Clear Identification of Advertising

Advertising and sponsored promotional materials must be clearly identifiable as such. They must not be designed or presented in a manner that could mislead readers into believing that they are editorial articles, peer-reviewed research, journal recommendations, or independent scholarly endorsements.

Appropriate Advertising

Where advertising is accepted, NAJIT may consider professionally appropriate promotional materials relevant to its scholarly community, including:

  • Academic conferences, seminars, workshops, and scholarly meetings related to accessibility and inclusion.
  • Research and educational programs in assistive technology, special education, disability studies, and accessible computing.
  • Academic books, scholarly publications, and educational resources relevant to disability-inclusive technology.
  • Research tools, accessible software, assistive devices, and technologies relevant to the journal's readership.
  • Professional development opportunities for researchers, educators, accessibility specialists, and assistive technology practitioners.
  • Other legitimate scholarly activities consistent with NAJIT's academic mission and ethical standards.
Advertising That Will Not Be Accepted

NAJIT reserves the right to reject or remove advertisements that:

  • Misrepresent academic credentials, indexing status, rankings, accreditation, citation indicators, or institutional recognition.
  • Promote academic misconduct, contract cheating, fabricated research, predatory publishing, or unethical services.
  • Make unsupported claims regarding assistive technology effectiveness, accessibility compliance, or the needs of persons with disabilities.
  • Contain discriminatory, exploitative, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate material, including harmful representations of persons with disabilities.
  • Violate applicable laws, copyright, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or professional standards.
  • Create a misleading impression of endorsement by NAJIT, its editors, reviewers, publisher, or affiliated institutions.
  • Undermine editorial independence, academic integrity, or the scholarly reputation of the journal.
  • Conflict with NAJIT's mission of advancing accessibility, inclusion, participation, and independence through technology.
No Journal Endorsement

The appearance of an advertisement on the NAJIT journal platform or the publisher's website does not constitute endorsement, certification, recommendation, or guarantee by the journal, Editorial Team, reviewers, or publisher concerning the advertised product, technology, institution, event, service, or claim.

Separation from Scholarly Content

Advertising must be visually and contextually separated from peer-reviewed articles, editorial decisions, reviewer reports, research data, and other scholarly content. Advertising placement must not interfere with the interpretation, accessibility, readability, or integrity of published research.

Accessibility of Advertising Materials

In accordance with its commitment to digital accessibility, NAJIT encourages advertising materials that are perceivable, understandable, and usable by persons with disabilities. Promotional content should use readable text, sufficient contrast, descriptive alternatives for meaningful images, and accessible formats where technically feasible. Advertisements should not obstruct navigation or access to scholarly content.

Advertising Selection and Placement

Advertising may be selected based on its relevance to NAJIT's general academic and professional readership. Advertising decisions must not be based on confidential information obtained from manuscript submissions, peer-review activities, editorial correspondence, unpublished research, or private author data.

Privacy and User Data

Personal information collected through journal registration, manuscript submission, peer review, or editorial communication must not be sold or disclosed to advertisers for unrelated commercial marketing purposes. Any advertising-related processing of user information must comply with applicable privacy obligations and NAJIT's privacy policy.

Sponsored Content

If NAJIT displays sponsored promotional content, the sponsorship relationship must be clearly disclosed. Sponsored materials must not be presented as independently peer-reviewed scholarly research unless they have undergone the journal's full editorial and peer-review procedures under the same academic standards applied to other manuscripts.

Right to Refuse or Withdraw Advertising

NAJIT and CV. Erukasyah Lagaliora Publishing retain the right to reject, discontinue, or remove advertising that conflicts with this policy, becomes misleading or inaccurate, raises legal or ethical concerns, or may reasonably compromise the independence, accessibility, or integrity of the journal.
