Deposit Conditions

Deposited manuscripts must clearly acknowledge IMAPE as the original publication source once the article has been formally published. Authors should include the complete bibliographic citation, DOI when available, and a link to the official Version of Record.

Preprints should be clearly identified as versions that have not yet undergone formal peer review. After publication, authors are encouraged to update the preprint record with the citation and link to the final published article.

Authors must preserve the integrity of the scholarly record and comply with the copyright, attribution, and open-access license applicable to the published work.

Version Identification

Repository records should clearly identify whether the deposited file is a Preprint, Author Accepted Manuscript, or Version of Record. Earlier manuscript versions must not be represented as though they were the final publisher-formatted article.

Copyright and License

Unless otherwise stated, articles published by IMAPE are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. Any self-archiving or redistribution must comply with the attribution and ShareAlike requirements of the applicable license.

Open Access Commitment

IMAPE supports responsible self-archiving as part of its commitment to open scholarly communication. Authors and institutions may use repository deposit to improve research visibility, accessibility, preservation, and compliance with legitimate institutional or funding requirements.

Free Publication

Self-archiving rights are independent of publication fees. IMAPE does not charge authors an Article Processing Charge (APC). Manuscripts are evaluated solely on scholarly quality, methodological rigor, ethical integrity, originality, and alignment with the journal's focus and scope.

Self-Archiving Enquiries

Authors are encouraged to consult the journal's copyright, licensing, open-access, and publication policies before depositing or redistributing their work. Questions regarding permitted manuscript versions or self-archiving may be directed to the IMAPE Editorial Office.
