Instructional Design and Ethical Pedagogy (IDEP) is committed to transparency regarding the financial resources used to support its editorial, publishing, technological, preservation, and dissemination activities. The journal is published by CV. Erukasyah Lagaliora Publishing and may receive financial or operational support through legitimate publishing-related sources.
Financial considerations are kept separate from editorial judgment. Revenue sources, publication charges, sponsorship, advertising, or other forms of financial support must not influence manuscript selection, peer review, editorial decisions, or the interpretation and publication of research findings.
The journal’s publication infrastructure and operational activities may be supported by CV. Erukasyah Lagaliora Publishing. Such support may include journal-platform management, web hosting, technical maintenance, editorial administration, metadata management, digital publication, preservation activities, and scholarly dissemination.
Where an Article Processing Charge (APC) or another author fee is applicable, the amount, purpose, payment stage, and relevant conditions will be stated transparently on the official IDEP journal website.
Payment of a publication charge does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Editorial evaluation and peer review must be completed independently of an author’s ability, willingness, or obligation to pay any applicable fee.
Subject to the journal’s policies and actual arrangements, additional financial or non-financial support may include:
- institutional or organizational support;
- grants or legitimate scholarly-publishing support;
- sponsorship of journal-related academic activities;
- advertising accepted in accordance with the IDEP Advertising Policy;
- technical or infrastructure support provided by legitimate partners; and
- other lawful sources consistent with the journal’s scholarly mission and editorial independence.
IDEP does not permit payment, sponsorship, commercial arrangements, or financial contributions to be used as a condition for obtaining a favorable editorial decision. Manuscripts must satisfy the journal’s scope, research-integrity requirements, editorial screening, and double-blind peer-review standards before they can be accepted for publication.
The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Team retain independent authority over editorial decisions. Publishers, sponsors, advertisers, funders, donors, service providers, and other financial contributors must not determine which manuscripts are reviewed, accepted, rejected, corrected, or retracted.
Where a journal issue, activity, publication initiative, or other journal-related program receives identifiable external financial support, the relationship should be disclosed appropriately. Financial support does not constitute endorsement of individual articles and must not compromise the independence of authors, reviewers, or editors.
Editors, reviewers, and authors must disclose relevant financial relationships or conflicts of interest that could reasonably affect, or appear to affect, the interpretation, review, or publication of a manuscript. Where necessary, individuals with significant conflicts should be recused from relevant editorial decisions.
IDEP seeks to ensure that fees and significant financial relationships relevant to authors or readers are communicated transparently through official journal channels. The journal will not intentionally conceal mandatory publication charges or make misleading statements regarding its sources of financial support.
IDEP maintains the principle that financial sustainability must remain independent of scholarly judgment. No revenue source may determine or improperly influence the journal’s peer-review process, editorial decisions, publication standards, or commitment to research and publication integrity.
